ABOUT OUR ROOFING COMPANY

How we came to be

The M & A Group was first established in 1979 as M & A Mastic Asphalt Ltd. It’s a family-owned company, with proprietors Allan and Hilary Baines naming the company after the first initials of their then young children, Matthew and Andrew. They then based the business in their home town of Derby.

After significant success in mastic asphalt flooring and roofing, the business expanded into built-up felt roofing. As time has progressed, the business has continued to grow and our range of services has continued to expand alongside it. We now cover the supply and installation of commercial and domestic floor coverings. Eldest son Matthew has recently joined the company, bringing with him a wealth of experience in this field.

In terms of our geography, we now offer our services throughout Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, Leicestershire and beyond.

We continue to be a friendly, family-run business that ensures each and every contract is completed to the highest standards, taking into consideration all of the customer’s wants and needs. Our engineers are all City & Guilds-accredited and time-served. They're also compliant with CDM, COSSH and Health & Safety regulations, and come CSCS-accredited.
